I must take my new mower to enter service until late summer. I have a trailer for it, and I intend to use on the back of my truck to take the mower to the dealer. The tailgate is strong enough to withstand the weight of the mower without damaging it? If not, there are ramps for sale, based on the truck instead of the back door to distribute? Thank you!

You should have no problem. One thing that can be seen speed bumps and falls on the road. Who will be a very powerful force, lead by the back door when he hits fast.
Another thing .... check what is the hardest ... under the bed and lightest on the tailgate.
